further into the compression test with variances in temperature is simply because temperature has only a small effect on compression. If your engine has 125psi (TT) when it is cold, I would still be leery about upgrading it before rebuilding the engine. 150psi, cold or hot, is a good number to have. If it is ~125psi, cold or hot, that's a concerning value. I'm not getting into specifics about it mainly beacuse there is no clear-cut line on it all. It is simply a suggestion consistent with Nissan factory specs.
